On Sunday in October (October 15,2023) we hold our annual Keirokai Service. We would like to honor all members of the Sangha who are 75 and older. If you have not previously joined Keirokai, please contact the Church Office at BCO@gmail.com or (510) 832-5988

Each year the Buddhist Church of Oakland honors its senior members with a special Keirokai service. This service is a way for the Sangha to say “thank you” for their years of hard work, commitment and support. The only requirement to join Keirokai is that the Church member be 75 years or older. Church members are not required to join Keirokai (but are encouraged to join). There are no membership fees or dues.
