3.3.23

Please use Word or compatible software to type recipes. Save to a file with the category name as the main file folder. Submit on a CD or thumb drive.

  1. Each recipe should be typed onto one sheet. If more room is needed, use another sheet of the same size and attach. Do not format into columns.
  2. List all ingredients in order of use in ingredients list and directions. See List of Abbreviations.
  3. Include container sizes, e.g., 16-oz. pkg., 24-oz. can.
  4. Keep directions in paragraph form – not in steps.
  5. Use names of ingredients in the directions, e.g., “Combine flour and sugar.” DO NOT use statements like, “Combine first three ingredients.”
  6. Include temperatures and cooking, chilling, baking, and/or freezing times.
  7. Note servings, or quantities, if possible, e.g., “Serves 4” or “Makes 36 pieces”.
  8. Be consistent with the spelling of the contributor’s name if more than one recipe is submitted.
  9. Any special recipe notes (anything other than ingredients, directions, contributor name, serving size, or recipe title) should be kept as a separate comment on the bottom of this form.
  10. Recipes should fit into the following categories:

Appetizers & Beverages
Soups & Salads
Vegetable & Side Dishes
Main Dishes
Breads, Muffins & Pancakes
