***New & Renewal Tag Orders – ”* *Tag Order Deadline Friday July 24, 2026***

The Buddhist Church of Oakland will again celebrate Obon Festival Program on August 1, 2026. As in the past, we will be honoring past family members and friends with Lantern Tags. If you would like your family member or family friend to be recognized, please complete the ONLINE FORM below and submit payment by Friday July 24, 2026.

We are asking all Tag application be made Online using the form below.
Names will be printed on a Tag. The tag will be hung from a Lantern during Obon.
Renewal: Pleases resubmit Names from previous years.
Suggested Donation is $20 per current/existing name and $35 per new name.
We are asking for only 1-2 Family Member(s) Maximum per Tag.
Late requests for Tags may not be honored. Order Deadline is June 24th.
